We’re proud to announce that Farnborough International Studios is once again listed on the BAFTA Albert Suppliers Directory for 2026.
The directory highlights organisations that can support sustainable production practices, and we are delighted to continue to be part of a community driving positive change across the TV and film industry.
Being listed on the BAFTA Albert Suppliers Directory means we have been independently assessed against the sustainability requirements set out by the BAFTA Albert team.
As part of our Destination Zero commitment, we generate over 30% of our site’s annual electricity needs through solar energy, while all energy on site is sourced from renewable sources.
We also send zero waste to landfill, recycling 98% of waste and recovering the remainder as energy. Our sustainability approach also extends to supporting productions on site, including encouraging the reuse and recycling of set materials and production assets wherever possible to reduce waste and minimise environmental impact.
Recent productions have also benefited from our sustainable infrastructure. During the filming of Paramount+ drama MobLand, the unit base was powered entirely through the site’s mains supply, with a significant proportion supported by electricity generated from our onsite solar installation.
Rachel Morrison, Studios Director at Farnborough International Studios, said:
“Being listed on the BAFTA Albert Suppliers Directory for 2026 reflects our continued commitment to reducing our environmental impact and supporting sustainable production. Sustainability remains central to our operations, and we’re proud to help productions make more environmentally responsible choices.”
We remain committed to continually improving our environmental performance across our business and studio operations while helping productions make sustainable choices throughout every stage of the filmmaking process.
