Apple TV returned to Farnborough International Studios to support filming of its upcoming sci-fi series Neuromancer, due to premiere on 22 January 2027.

Created by Graham Roland and J. D. Dillard, Neuromancer is based on William Gibson’s influential 1984 novel, with Gibson also serving as executive producer. The ten-part series stars Callum Turner, Briana Middleton and Mark Strong. It follows Case, a troubled hacker played by Turner, who is drawn into a world of digital espionage, organised crime and a high-risk mission alongside Molly, played by Middleton.

The site hosted the production’s two-unit base on two occasions last year, in February and September. One of the Studios’ 22,000 sqft sound stages was also used for crowd holding, makeup and costume, while scenes were filmed nearby at the Aviator Hotel and Farnborough Airport.

Farnborough International Studios welcomed The Agency for series 2 of the acclaimed series, with the campus used as both a filming location and a studio base for the Paramount+ production across two major shoots in August and September 2025.

The Agency is a spy thriller series based on the acclaimed French drama Le Bureau des Légendes, with an award-winning cast including Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston and Richard Gere.

The production made extensive use of Farnborough International Studios’ flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, transforming areas of Hall 1 and its associated entrances into doubles for two major London transport hubs. Across the shoot periods, the campus also supported crowd holding, catering, cast green rooms, crew parking, technical vehicle parking and unit base requirements. By utilising Farnborough International Studios as a location replica, this minimised security limitations, allowed complete access to all areas and facilitated the production to be able to utilise on-site parking, serviced costume and makeup areas and offered a combination of bespoke onsite catering and outside crew catering to support logistics.

During the first shoot, from 2 August to 9 August 2025, Hall 1, Advance, and Advance Mezzanine were used as a double location for Heathrow Airport. Inspire supported crowd holding and catering, while Innovate 1 and 2 were used as cast green rooms. Car Park 3, Car Park 4 and the West Hard Standing provided crew and technical vehicle parking.

The second shoot, from 29 August to 9 September 2025, saw Hall 1, Discover and the East Entrance dressed as a double for London City Airport. Inspire again provided crowd holding and catering, with Innovate 1 and 2 supporting cast green room requirements. Car Parks 2 and 3 were used for crew parking, unit base and technical parking.

One of the Studio’s 22,000 sq ft sound stages was also used for filming vehicle pick-up shots, accompanied by a driving plate shoot around the Farnborough campus to capture background footage for Virtual Production scenes. The production team were able to utilise both the private roads on site to enable both physical and virtual production to adapt their requirements for the various scenes.

Rachel Morrison, Venue Director at Farnborough International Studios, said: “Welcoming The Agency to Farnborough International Studios demonstrates the versatility, scale and operational strength of our campus. From airport doubles and studio filming to crew logistics, catering and unit base support, our team was proud to provide the production with a secure, flexible and production-ready environment once again.”

The Farnborough International team were also delighted that the production team took on a runner who recently completed the Farnborough International Studio’s Runner training programme in collaboration with Hampshire County Council, Rushmoor Council and All Spring Media, providing jobs and new opportunities for career development and employment for local people.
